The Artist
Jyllian is a passionate creative with a wonderful husband and a sweet, yet crazy, brown tabby named Pickles. Not only does she love the traditional arts, but she grew up outdoors in the beautiful state of Washington camping with her family or going on beautiful hikes. With that being said, she'll never turn down the opportunity to be outside in God's creation. Jyllian also loves to strength train, cook, and get to know people and their unique story. She appreciates a good coffee and a deep conversation on a rainy day. Most would describe her as an old soul, loving music from the early 50's-60's era. Appreciating the simple things and following the calling God has on her life is what she tries to live by each and every day.
About the Art
As a Christian, Jyllian believes that everyone is created by the Creator to create. This looks different for many people. For Jyllian, it began with comics in early elementary school. Soon enough, her newfound passion evolved to drawings which then led to her supportive dad encouraging her to add color to her works. She began painting around the age of 12 and discovered something she loved more than anything she'd tried in the past. Since then, painting has remained a steady part of her life, and she is so grateful for the opportunity to do the thing she loves every day. She enjoys the process of bringing someone's vision to life through works of her own or by teaching others what she has learned through many years of practice.
